The Red Star Line Museum focuses on family oriented and child-friendly activities by hosting family Sundays, holiday workshops, etc. We pay special attention to those families who don't usually visit a museum.
In 2021 we started the Children’s Committee, made up of 7 children who meet every month to discuss and think about ideas for the museum. These children are between the ages of 9 and 12 and are from all areas of Antwerp. The museum is a firm believer in partnerships, which is why we did not do this on our own. Wilde Raven guided us through this journey and translated the children’s ideas into concrete actions. Together we created a new version of the family game and on family Sundays the children act as your guides in the museum.
