Discover 'Destination Sweetheart' with a guide

‘Destination Sweetheart’ is an exhibition about migrating for love from the Red Star Line period to the present day. A guide tells the stories behind the letters, interviews and personal objects offers insight into heart-warming stories, as well as confrontational ones.

Are you leaving blindly or with a lot of doubt? With all the obstacles, was the journey worth the destination? From the first encounters and the distance that migrant lovers have to bridge to weddings, the decision to leave and ultimately the start of a new life elsewhere. And there is also room for your story. How far did you go for love?
